Man hurt in jail fight dies; charges expected for 2nd inmate

SIDNEY, Ohio (AP) — A coroner says an inmate wound in a fight at an Ohio penal advanced died a day later at a sanatorium.

The Dayton Day-to-day News reports the Sir Bernard Law County Coroner’s Deliver of job hasn’t ruled on what precipitated the Saturday ***** of 54-one year-aged James Richards.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Deliver of job says the Sidney man was as soon as punched by one other inmate on the Shelby County penal advanced.

Chief Deputy James Frye tells The Sidney Day-to-day News an inmate again and again asked Richards no longer to focus on so loudly whereas talking on a phone, and Richards then yelled on the man, ensuing in a physical fight. Frye says Richards hit his head as he fell, then was as soon as again and again punched.

Officers intervened, and the 2nd inmate is expected to face costs.
