Last of 5 suspects pleads guilty in St. Joseph double murder

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — The closing of five defendants has pleaded guilty in a double atomize in St. Joseph.

Luis Omar Robles-Vargas pleaded guilty Friday to 2d-stage atomize. He had initially been charged with two counts of first-stage atomize within the July 2017 deaths of 22-year-passe Kevin Villegas-Melendez and 25-year-passe Raymond Gonzalez-Ortiz. Prosecutors advise the victims had been killed in an execution. Investigators learned 50 shell casings attain the victims’ van, and no evidence that the victims had weapons or fired on the suspects.

Two various defendants had been sentenced to penitentiary and two others are waiting for sentencing.
