Ex-Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam says he’ll mull Senate options

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Stale Tennessee Republican Gov. Invoice Haslam says he’ll purchase some time to assign in mind his alternatives sooner than deciding whether to bustle for the U.S. Senate.

The Tennessean reports Haslam said Saturday on the inauguration of his successor, Invoice Lee, that he’ll purchase a whole lot of weeks to accomplish up his mind.

Haslam is scheduled to switch on creep back and forth that could final by late February. He says his decision will attain “doubtlessly at some point in March.”

Republican U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander has said he’s no longer searching for re-election in 2020.
